HEALTH -COVID_19 Response

COPE has provided a very vital awareness since the out break of the pandemic in WES.

COPE as been helping the community on the health education. with the pandemic of COVID-19 COPE conducted house to house awareness, provision of water tank to the public places for frequent washing of hands, radio talk show on Corona virus rumors and stigmatization among the community, distributions of soaps and face-masks to the vulnerable community, training of health workers and social mobilizers for COVID-19.

Sexual Reproductive health awareness to the Youth, students, pupils, elderly women and traditional leaders in Yambio. Distributions of Sanitary pads to the students and pupils from different schools in Western Equatoria State.

HIV/AIDS COPE as been conducting HIV awareness, training peer Educators and community counselors, Condom distributions, contact tracing or lost follow-up, referrals and Counseling and Testing activities in Western Equatoria State.

Awareness on Hygiene promotions and STI to the community in Yambio.
